What is the Best Meats to Eat for Weight Loss? We haven’t cut out any of our meats from our diet but there are meats that are better for your diet than others. Here are the meats that we eat the most of and some healthy choices as well!
Fish helps fill you up but also contains Omega 3’s that help blast the fat. I’m not a big fish lover but over the last year I have upped my fish intake in an effort to eat healthier. Eating eggs or even egg white protein powder is another way to get some Omega 3’s in your diet.
We eat a lot of Tilapia and Salmon because they are readily available, can be fixed in lots of ways and taste good to us. I am happy to report that salmon is one of the best fish for you because it is great for helping breaking down belly fat. Which is one of the problem areas for me, but I only eat it maybe 2 times a month!
But the best fish to eat for weight loss is sardines because they have natural fat blasters in them. I’m not a sardine lover so I would definitely have to mask the fact that I am eating one, but Mr. SMSL loves them. I would guess that it is a matter of taste, texture and opinion of the little fish as to whether or not you enjoy them
If you don’t like “fish” you can always take a pill that provides you with Omega 3’s to help your weight loss along. Chia Seeds and Flax seeds are something that we have added into our diet and easily added to many dishes.
We also added more turkey, chicken and turkey into our diets. We eat white meat at least 4 nights a week and try to bake it instead of frying. Organic meat is more expensive but better for you in the long run if you can make an organic swap one or two nights a week your body will notice.
When choosing the best meats to eat for weight loss, you should also be looking at the amount of protein that is in that meat. If you are looking to lose weight, protein is essential for keeping you full and breaking down the fat cells that are in your body. The funny thing about protein is that even though it is good for you, your body is not able to break it down. So whenever your body gets a nice dose of protein, it will break down some of your fat cells because it cannot break down the protein. In other words, the more protein your meat has, the more it will fill you up and help you to lose weight.
