Unique Easter Presents that are Not Candy
If you were being honest with yourself, you know that you love candy, but sometimes it gets a little old for the holidays. Not to mention, candy isn’t always the best thing for kids around the holidays, sometimes it’s nice to get something a little different. Check out these unique Easter presents that are not candy.
- Activity membership: If you’re looking for a unique gift that you can give around the holidays, then think activities that your kids love. You know, zoo memberships, children’s museum memberships, water parks, and even swimming pools. Kids love to be active and it’s way better than getting candy.
- Loose change in plastic Easter Eggs. For years we have been adding loose change into Easter Eggs and letting the kids find them. Just try to keep it even amounts so each kid gets about the same amount. We collect all of ours and divide it evenly among all of the kids (nieces, nephews, etc.)
- Fill up an umbrella: Get a little creative and fill up an umbrella with various toys that your kids love. Since most kids are expecting a tiny Easter basket, it’s really cool to get a whole umbrella full of their favorite toys. Who could resist something so awesome?
- New shoes and clothes: Maybe your child isn’t a huge fan of toys and they are requesting something else for Easter. Think about getting something like new shoes and clothing for your kiddos. You can get a really great price on these items when you look close enough. Plus, it’s always fun to sport a new style once in a while.
- New movies, books, or video games: Although these items are terribly unique, it is fun to get them for Easter. Try to find some classic movies, books, and video games your kids have never seen or tried before. If your kids aren’t into these items, think about other items they may love. Perhaps your child is in love with crocheting, get them a few gifts in this area. If your kids are into sports, think of something you can get them that has to do with sports.
- Swimming pool, trampoline, outdoors stuff: Whoever invented the Easter basket, clearly didn’t think big enough. If you’re looking to let your kids spend a lot more time outdoors, think about getting them a bigger item like the aforementioned items. Guess what? No one said you had to buy them new, look for items that are used, but just as good!
- Sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bouncing balls, glow sticks and anything found in the $1 bins at your favorite store. Or if you want to deliver the carrots above check out this post!!
