The Jungle Book Review

The Jungle Book

Remakes are always tough for me because I grew up watching The Jungle Book. Yes, I realize I probably am giving away my age here and I’m ok with that. But when I heard that Disney was remaking the Jungle Book I was a little more than worried. I LOVED the first one as did Liz and we have spent thousands of hours watching it, singing along and so much more through the years. But I went into it with an open mind, because if it was a “remake” it had to be worth the redo. But I was still more than cautious as I went into it, even though I really tried not to be. BUT just a few minutes into the film I decided that this version was just as good as the original. I did think it took forever to get to The Bear Necessities, but it was well worth the wait. The storyline was fantastic, the graphics and animation were beyond amazing and the cast was of course star studded and everyone was perfect for their part.

The Jungle Book Review

Watch The Jungle Book preview where Richard Sherman writes a new verse. I LOVE this feature because it is the “original” but yet newer and it brings back fond childhood memories and the “Vault” comes into play. Which is probably one of my favorite scenes in the new movie and now I understand why.

The Jungle Book Activities

Don’t forget to download all of The Jungle Book Activities for you or the kids. It is now available to purchase in stores everywhere and it is a must watch movie.

Now, here is the part you have all been waiting for, The Jungle Book Lithograph Giveaway!

What does a Giveaway have to do with it all?? At the end of the new and improved Jungle Book the Lithograph is part of the ending. How cool is that?? And they are only 300 out in the universe and I have one. Now the folks at Disney are offering you your own chance to win your own Lithograph just like the one that I have. The Estimated Retail Value (Conservative estimate) $50-$100 but with only 300 of them, it is pretty close to priceless for me!

  1. Baloo is my favorite Jungle Book character. In fact, Bill Murray’s voice made the movie awesome for me! I don’t know any strawberry shortcake characters.

  2. My favorite strawberry shortcake character would have to be Apple Dumplin the only baby on the movie I like this character because she is so cute and like that her clothes have apple shapes on them.
